Corvara is a characteristic tourist town located in Alta Badia, in the heart of the Dolomites, in the south of the Italian region of Alto Adige (Südtirol). It is located in the Sella Group, one of the most famous mountain ranges in the area. Among the most peculiar peaks is Sassongher, whose peak is located at 2665m.
Overall, Corvara and Sassongher represent a fascinating combination between a typical mountain village and one of the most evocative peaks. The area offers a wide range of outdoor activities, breathtaking scenery and an authentic atmosphere.
This work is available on Fine Art photographic paper or on Tiziano Canvas. The inks used are of the highest quality and long-lasting, guaranteeing brilliant and long-lasting color rendering. The mountain dominates the scene, partly surrounded by clouds which give a mystical and mysterious atmosphere. At the foot of the mountain lies a village, with small houses scattered among the green fields and winding roads that wind between them.
Hans Huber
He lived as a passionate landscape painter, revealing the Dolomite peaks and the Bavarian and Austrian Alps to the general public from the 1920s to the 1960s. Founder of the publishing house "Hans Huber Alpiner Kunstverlag" in 1920, he received awards and recognition in the early 1920s in Munich (1921) and in Berchtesgaden (1924) for best mountain photographer. His enthusiasm for photography and the mountains is still visible today in his images.
