Sella Pass and the Sella massif (1920-1930)
Photographer © Hans Huber
Code IMGL3870

The Sella Pass is located in the Sella Group, a mountain range in the Dolomites, which is located on the border between the regions of Trentino-Alto Adige and Veneto.

The Pass is surrounded by some of the most famous peaks in the Dolomite area, including Sassolungo (or Langkofel in German), one of the most characteristic and iconic peaks of the Southern Dolomites. The shape of Sassolungo is distinctive: its top looks like a long rocky ridge and, together with Sassopiatto, they form a sort of "horseshoe", making them easily recognisable.

This work is available on Fine Art photographic paper or on Tiziano Canvas. The inks used are of the highest quality and long-lasting, guaranteeing brilliant and long-lasting color rendering. The combination of natural elements, such as rock, snow and cloudy skies, helps to create a suggestive and engaging atmosphere. The vastness of the mountains compared to the smallness of the road and humans inspires a sense of humility and wonder at the power of nature.
